A Robust Solution for Cotton Merchants of all Sizes

I want to hear from you.  Call me to talk about what's going on here at Three Rivers.  I'd be glad to send a brochure.  When your ready, we can setup a web demo or arrange for an on-site visit.

Thanks,

David Brown

Maybe we'll run into one another...

Let me know if you are going to be at the Atlantic Cotton Association May 8-9.  The ACSA event is being hosted here in Montgomery, AL.  Perhaps we can meet later in May at the annual ACSA meeting in Florida.

Thank you customers for making Three Rivers a success.

We are excited about 2008 as it marks the sixth season of operation for this platform.  We introduced version 3.0 January.  Positive feedback along the way has been encouraging and I personally couldn't have hoped for events to have unfolded any differently than they have.  It's been quite unpredictable but each new turn has introduced a new challenge that has strengthened the software.   It started out as a shipping tool.  Since then we've added more selling functions, stronger purchasing, portfolio management, more loan functionality, and a strong accounting base.

So where do we go from here?

Now it's time to take the next big step.  We will soon offer the same solid solution in the form of a web-based application.  Customer's will be able to choose the implementation that makes most since to them.  Some will want to run the platform on in-house servers and others will opt for a hosted solution.  We've already started developing a rich browser interface which will set on top of the same time-tested business logic that drives the current application.  Business logic is the portion of written code that handles such tasks as calculating accruals and the job of splitting shipments into "smart" loads.  The database will stay the same so moving to the new platform will be as simple as clicking a new icon.  We'll discuss the benefits of the new platform in greater detail later.

Downloads:

2007 Loan Schedule (Catapult* Format)

Download the latest government loan schedule saved in the Catapult format. You can import this or any other Catapult file into Three Rivers by going to Maintenance/Discount Schedules. From there, click on File/Import Catapult File and select the file to import. You'll be given an opportunity to name the schedule or accept the name provided within the file.

* Catapult is a product developed by ECotton. The format used for this product has been accepted as a standard format for contract schedules by Three Riveres. You do not need the Catapult product to import this file into Three Rivers. Visit ECotton's website for information on how you might want to use the Catapult software.

Notes:

Now that you can import and manage daily spot quotes, call and ask me about new mark-to-market reports that utilize the quotes to evaluate your inventory.

The latest "Portfolio" feature offers some advanced ways to separate your inventory without hindering the shipment process.  Let's talk about it.

Some other new features quietly slipped into version 3.0  that some of you may not know a great deal about.  We're proud of the new Certificated Stock Management and some nice features for those of you who offer Grower Services.  Call to discuss in detail any new features that you'd like to explore.  Written documentation can be provided if you prefer to study it on your own time.

Thank you for your support.
